Working Well LGBTIQA Young People
LGBTIQA young people are overrepresented in out of home care. This two-part virtual classroom training series has been developed to provide a mix of information, discussion, networking, and knowledge/experience sharing around working well with LGBTIQA young people.Register Now
The Centre provides specific training to support the implementation of the Intensive Therapeutic Care System in NSW. The training is provided in face to face and online delivery formats and will cover themes relevant to how to care and support young people living in the ITC system and other therapeutic care environments as well as emerging issues in the care of young people with complex trauma and adverse childhood experiences.
Two different categories of training will be offered by the Centre:
- Workshops and courses that are only available for staff working in ITC Agencies; and,
- Workshops and courses which can be accessed by all professionals regardless of context and location.
